From the comfort of your home, embark on the most sacred pilgrimage for your ancestors. This unique online service allows you to perform the holy Pind Daan ceremony at the three most powerful Tirthas for ancestral liberation: Prayagraj (the King of Tirthas), Varanasi (the City of Moksha), and Gaya (the Land of Salvation). Our learned pandits will perform these rites with full Vedic rituals on your behalf, ensuring your offerings reach your ancestors and grant them eternal peace.
The Sacred Triveni: Merits of Each Holy City (As per the Puranas)
Our scriptures extol the unparalleled virtues of performing ancestral rites at these three holy sites.
Prayagraj (Tirtharaj – The King of Holy Places):
As the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and the subterranean Saraswati, Prayagraj is revered as the foremost of all Tirthas. The Puranas teach that any ancestral rite or charity performed here yields undecaying merit. A Pinda offered into the waters of the Ganga at Prayag is said to be a crore times more effective, leading to the salvation and eternal heaven for one’s ancestors. The sins of many lifetimes are washed away simply by hearing its holy name, and the manes (ancestors) for whom oblations are offered here attain everlasting satisfaction.
Varanasi (Kashi – The Luminous City of Salvation):
The holy city of Kashi, eternally protected by Lord Shiva, is the ultimate abode of Moksha. It is believed that any soul who departs in Kashi, or for whom rites are performed here, is freed from the cycle of rebirth. Lord Shiva himself bestows the Taraka Mantra upon the departed, ensuring their complete liberation. Performing Shraddha here satisfies the ancestors and opens the gates of salvation for them.
Gaya (The Land of Final Liberation):
Gaya is the land consecrated by Lord Vishnu as Pitru Devta. The Garuda Purana and Vayu Purana declare that a Pind Daan performed in Gaya redeems ancestors from all sufferings, even liberating them from hellish realms or the state of Pretahood (wandering spirits). This sacred act satisfies the ancestors for a thousand Yugas and can grant salvation to twenty-one generations of a family, ensuring their ascent to the highest divine realms (Brahmaloka).
Perform Online Pind daan in Prayagraj, Varanasi & Gaya and benefit from these holy tirth sthals. Pind daan is an important hindu last rite which is considered to help the deceased soul to travel towards the swargalok by providing him food in the form of pind balls. Pind daan helps in curing the hunger of the soul of the departed.

Video Review of Pind daan Package Prayagraj, Varanasi & Gaya:
This is video review by a pilgrim from Mumbai who took our services in Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gaya.
1. Why to perform Pind daan in Prayagraj?
Pind daan in prayagraj is done as there a prevalent notion that completing ancestral ceremonies at Prayagraj, previously known as Allahabad, located at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, removes all of a soul’s afflictions after death. Sins are wiped away and the soul is set free from the cycle of life and death by just bathing in these waters.
2. Why to perform Pind daan in Varanasi?
It is believed that even if a person dies elsewhere, but if his last rites are conducted here, the soul achieves moksha. Also, Varanasi or Kashi is believed to be the home of holy river ganga. If pind daan is done here, in the middle of holy river ganga, the soul is said to achieve salvation.
3. Why to do Pind daan in Gaya?

The Pind Daan performed in Gaya is said to be a very important way of making sacrifices on Lord Vishnu’s footprints, guaranteeing that all of our ancestors’ departed souls rest in peace forever. This is due to Vishnupad Temple, which is located near the banks of Phalgu river and has visible footprints of lord vishnu.
Hindu tradition recognizes three cities above all others as the most sacred grounds for Pind Daan: Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gaya. Performing this ancestral rite at any one of them is meritorious. Performing it at all three — what the scriptures call the Tri-Sthal — is described in the Garuda Purana as conferring liberation upon ancestors across all seven generations. For centuries, this meant undertaking a journey that covered hundreds of kilometers across three states. Today, for families who cannot make that journey but whose obligation to their ancestors remains unchanged, this package makes all three ceremonies possible through a single booking.
The 3-in-1 Online Pind Daan package at ₹35,000 engages separate, qualified pandits in each of the three cities simultaneously. Your family joins all three ceremonies via video call, maintaining your presence, your Sankalpa (statement of intent), and your active participation in the ritual — regardless of whether you are in another city, another country, or simply unable to travel at this time.
Prayagraj holds a position in Hindu cosmology that is entirely its own. This is the point where the Ganga, the Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati river meet — the Triveni Sangam, the most sacred confluence in the world. The Matsya Purana describes this point as Tirth Raj, the king of all pilgrimages. Every act of sacred significance performed at the Sangam is amplified by the combined power of three rivers, each carrying divine energy of a different character: the Ganga’s purifying force, the Yamuna’s devotion, and the Saraswati’s hidden wisdom.
Pind Daan at the Triveni Sangam is performed from a boat anchored at the point of confluence. Your pandit in Prayagraj positions himself at this exact location, performs the Sankalpa in your name with the names of your ancestors, and offers the pind into the sacred waters while you witness and participate via video. The offering made at this point is believed to reach the pitrs through the combined currents of all three rivers simultaneously.
Varanasi, or Kashi, is the city of Lord Shiva — the city that never sleeps, that has never been unoccupied in recorded human history, and that the Skanda Purana describes as Shiva’s own abode. The Puranas state that those who die in Kashi receive Tarak Mantra (the liberating mantra) directly from Shiva into their ear at the moment of death, guaranteeing liberation. For ancestors who died elsewhere, Pind Daan at Varanasi’s ghats invokes this same grace of Shiva on their behalf.
The ceremony is performed at one of Varanasi’s principal ghats along the Ganges — the river here carrying the full weight of the city’s accumulated spiritual history. Your pandit in Varanasi conducts the complete Pind Daan ritual with Tarpan and mantras invoking Lord Shiva’s blessing specifically for the liberation of your ancestors. For families with ancestors who had a strong devotion to Shiva during their lifetimes, Varanasi’s ceremony carries particular resonance.
Gaya’s authority in the Pind Daan tradition is sui generis — it stands apart from every other tirtha in the specific, focused power the scriptures attribute to it for ancestral liberation. The Garuda Purana, the primary scriptural source on post-death rites, places Gaya at the top of every list of places where Pind Daan should be performed. Lord Vishnu’s footprint rests at the Vishnupad Temple here, and the Phalgu River’s sacred sands are believed to transmit offerings directly to the pitrs without any obstacle or delay.
In this package, your pandit in Gaya performs Pind Daan at the Phalgu River bank, with a visit to and ritual at the Vishnupad Temple. The combination of Vishnu’s blessing and the Phalgu’s direct transmission makes this the culminating ceremony of the three. Even within a single day, covering these two sites in Gaya provides the essence of what the full Gaya pilgrimage accomplishes.
The concept of performing Pind Daan at multiple sacred cities is not a modern convenience construct — it is rooted in direct scriptural prescription. The Kurma Purana enumerates a list of “Maha Kshetras” for ancestral rites and places Prayag, Kashi, and Gaya in the highest tier. The Vishnu Purana adds that ancestors who receive Pind Daan at all three of these cities attain Vishnu Loka — the highest realm of liberation.
There is also a practical spiritual logic to the three-city approach. Different ancestors, depending on the nature of their lives and the circumstances of their deaths, may require different forms of assistance. Prayagraj’s Sangam works through the power of purification. Varanasi works through Shiva’s direct grace. Gaya works through Vishnu’s foundational blessing on the earth itself. Together, the three address every possible situation a departed soul might face.
For families with known Pitru Dosha — the astrological indication of unsatisfied ancestral spirits manifesting as recurring difficulties in the family — the Tri-Sthal approach is often recommended as the comprehensive remedy. You can read more about the complete tradition and significance of these rites in our comprehensive guide to Pind Daan.
The online format of this package is designed to preserve the ritual integrity of all three ceremonies while accommodating families who cannot physically travel. The key element that makes online Pind Daan valid is the Sankalpa — the formal statement of intent at the opening of every Vedic ceremony. Your pandit performs the Sankalpa while you are present on video, stating your name, your gotra (lineage), the names of your ancestors, and the purpose of the ceremony. Your witnessing of this Sankalpa, even via screen, constitutes your ritual presence and activates the ceremony on your behalf.
The process works as follows. After booking, you receive a confirmation call from our coordination team who collects the names and gotras of the ancestors to be included. On the scheduled day, you receive three separate video links for the three ceremonies. The Prayagraj ceremony typically begins first in the morning, followed by Varanasi, and concluding with Gaya in the afternoon — this sequence follows the traditional pilgrimage route. You join each video call, introduce yourself to the pandit, confirm the Sankalpa details, and witness the ceremony from beginning to end. The full proceedings for each location take approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
After all three ceremonies are complete, you receive a ceremony completion report with photographs and video clips from each location for your family’s records.
This package was built primarily with three groups of families in mind. The first is the NRI community — Hindus living outside India whose family obligations to their ancestors are no less real than those of families in India, but for whom the journey to three separate Indian cities in one trip is often not feasible. For families based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, or the Gulf states, this package provides a genuine and complete solution.
The second group is families with known or suspected Pitru Dosha that jyotish assessment has identified as severe. When the astrological pattern suggests accumulated ancestral dissatisfaction across multiple generations, a single-city Pind Daan may not be sufficient to address the full weight of the karmic debt. The Tri-Sthal approach — covering all three principal cities — is specifically prescribed in such cases.
The third group is families who have already performed Pind Daan in one or two of these cities but wish to complete the circuit. If your family has previously performed rites at Gaya but never at Prayagraj or Varanasi, this package allows you to complete the Tri-Sthal with the remaining cities without requiring full travel.
The determining factor of validity in any Vedic ceremony is the Sankalpa — the formal declaration of intent performed by the designated priest in the name of the Karta (the family member performing the rite). When this Sankalpa is performed correctly, with the Karta witnessing it via video, the ceremony’s spiritual benefit passes to the Karta and their ancestors in exactly the same way as a physical ceremony. This has been confirmed by senior Vedic scholars and is the established position of multiple traditional peethas (religious institutions) that have examined the question. The location of the priest’s body matters; the location of the Karta’s body does not, so long as the intent and witness are present.
Yes. While we recommend completing all three ceremonies in a single day to maintain the continuous momentum of the ritual cycle, families with schedule constraints may spread the three cities across two or three consecutive days. Please mention this preference at the time of booking and we will coordinate the scheduling with all three pandits accordingly.
All three ceremonies will include the same complete list of ancestors. There is no limit on the number of ancestors that can be included — the Sankalpa covers all named ancestors you provide, plus a standard invocation for unknown ancestors across seven generations on both the paternal and maternal sides. Prepare a list of ancestor names and gotras before the coordination call; our team will help you organize the information in the correct format for the priests.
Yes, absolutely. A woman may serve as the primary Karta for Pind Daan in all three cities. This is the case under both traditional interpretation and practical guidance from recognized scholars. In families with no living male heir, women have always been the appropriate Karta. The ceremony’s efficacy is not diminished in any way.
Our coordination team is available throughout the ceremony day to handle any technical issues. If a call drops during a ceremony, the priest will pause the ritual and reconnect before continuing — the Vedic tradition allows for brief interruptions in ceremony provided the Sankalpa remains intact and the ceremony is resumed promptly. In the event of a complete failure of connectivity at a critical moment, we will reschedule that city’s ceremony at no additional charge.
