What is Pitrudosh Nivaran?
Pitrudosh Nivaran is a structured set of Vedic rituals aimed at settling ancestral debts and releasing departed souls from suffering. The process typically includes Tarpan (water oblations with sesame seeds and barley), Pind Daan (rice ball offerings as described in the Garuda Purana), Shradh ceremonies, Brahmin Bhojan (feeding learned priests), and specific mantra recitations. These rites are performed under the guidance of a learned pandit, ideally at sacred tirthas like Prayagraj, Gaya, or Varanasi where the spiritual potency is considered highest.
