A whole homestay 800 metres from the Triveni Sangam — two air-conditioned rooms, a hall and a full kitchen, taken as one property rather than by the room. It sleeps up to twelve, which is the size an extended family usually travels at when they come for ancestral rites.

The kitchen is the reason most families choose it. Shradh observances often involve restrictions on what the family eats and who prepares it, and a hotel cannot accommodate that. Here you cook for yourselves, keep your own timings, and sit together between the rites instead of in a hotel lobby.

At 800 metres you are close enough to reach the ghat for a dawn Sankalp without a long drive. We arrange the purohit, the boat to the confluence, samagri and local transport from here. If the ceremony is not booked yet, begin with Pind Daan in Prayagraj, Asthi Visarjan in Prayagraj, Shradh in Prayagraj or Tarpan in Prayagraj, and we will hold the house for the same dates.

Travelling as two or three rather than twelve? Yatri Nivas at Prayagraj Sangam is let by the room and is the simpler option for a small family.

Book early for the two busy seasons. Through Magh Mela, 15 January to 6 March 2027, and through Pitru Paksha, a whole property this close to the Sangam is the first thing to go. Three to four weeks ahead for the main bathing dates, and longer for Mauni Amavasya.
