Vedic Astrology

A Kundli, or Birth Horoscope, is an Astrological Chart based on an individual’s specific birth date, time, and location. We refer to this chart as a Kundli since it is essentially a Personal Horoscope made utilising the Vedic Astrology System. This chart depicts the positions of the planets at the moment of one’s birth, including the Sun, Moon, astrological aspects, and major angles. A skilled astrologer would frequently produce a Kundli to get insight into a person’s personality, potential, history, present, and future. Janam Kundli, Janampatri, Natal Chart, Birth Horoscope, and Birth Chart are some other synonyms for Kundli. In India, it is necessary to compare the kundalis of male and female partners before their marriage to determine whether the bride and groom are astrologically compatible by checking 36 gunas

How a Kundali is made?

In order to calculate the native’s Ascendant or Rising Sign, an astrologer determines the local mean time at the location of birth. The Kundli is then split into 12 Houses. The Ascendant is the First House, and the remaining Houses are numbered in an anti-clockwise fashion. In a person’s Kundli, the location of these Houses is always set. The movement of the different Signs and planets through the twelve Houses at specified times is best understood and analysed by astrologers who have been taught and schooled in Astrology. Furthermore, all planets transit through different Signs during the duration of a person’s lifetime, which can be measured in days, weeks, months, or years.

The positioning of the planets in these Houses indicates different events, occurring, and possibilities. Each House in a Kundli represents a certain facet, relationship, or region of life, and the placement of the planets in these Houses indicates numerous events, happenings, and possibilities. Astrologers can give forecasts for an individual based on planetary placements and motions in his or her Kundli by using and interpreting this information and applying the time-tested principles and study of Vedic Astrology.

The huge ocean of astrology is fed by a number of rivers. What is being conveyed is that there are several disciplines of astrology, but in Vedic astrology, the Kundli is believed to be incredibly essential. When the time, location, and date of the horoscope native are set in Vedic Astrology, the Janam Kundli of the Jatak is generated. This horoscope will include a detailed explanation of the planetary direction’s current state. On this foundation, the person’s forecast or projections are made.

Types of Kundali

Lagna Chart

This is a photograph of the sky taken at the time you were born. The sign rising toward the east is the sign in the first residence. Each sign rises at the same time in the east, which is 2 hours. The location of the planets in various signs and houses corresponds to their position in heaven at the time of your birth.

Chandra Kundli

This chart is based on the house in which the moon resides. If your moon is in the 11th house, for example, the 12th house is the second house from the moon in this chart. Because the moon is the quickest planet after the ascendant, it is just as essential as the birth chart. On average, it changes signs after 2.5 days. If you overlook the moon chart, your horoscope will be incomplete.

Navamsa

The 1/9th division of a symbol is called ‘Navamsa.’ It is the most crucial divisional diagram. The position of planets in the Lagna chart is examined, followed by their strength in the ‘Navamsa’ to determine their true strength. When a planet is exalted in the Rasi chart but weak in the Navamsa chart, it loses a lot of its power, and vice versa.

The Navamsa chart is regarded as a separate chart. Before considering the Navamsa chart, no result is proclaimed. It’s also used to find a match and assess marital contentment.

Chalit Chart

The chalit chart is a chart that depicts the location of planets in their respective houses. In Hindu astrology, we consider houses/Graha/Sthans in a horoscope, where the first house begins 15 degrees before the Ascendant and finishes 15 degrees after it, and so on for the remaining eleven houses. As a result, parts of a sign may fall in one house and parts in another. If your ascendant is 22 degrees Aries, for example, your first house will begin at 7 degrees Aries and conclude at 7 degrees Taurus. In a Rasi chart, if Ketu is at 5° Taurus in heaven, it will fall in the second house since Taurus covers the second house. However, since the first house extends till 7° Taurus and Ketu was at 5° Taurus in the chalit chart, it will arrive at the first house. The Chalit chart is the most complicated and requires the most time to grasp.

Online Vs. Handmade Kundali

We compared a few kundalis prepared by expert astrologers to kundalis created by software or the internet. In Lagna and moon charts, the position, placement, and degrees of planets were all the same, although D-charts differed slightly.

As a result, you may argue that internet charts are extremely precise in terms of planet placement. It’s like having a computer perform all of your computations instead of a human. A competent astrologer may take many hours to generate a thorough Kundali, whereas software may do it in a few clicks. Both will function on the same principle, but the machine will be quicker than a human.

Now, the forecasts made by these software or online Kundalis are based on generic placements of planets, not on their relative positions, aspects, or other factors.

As a result, we don’t believe their projections are even close to being accurate. It can forecast the same future for a group of people who have completely diverse characteristics. You can’t blame the programme for this because even a competent astrologer would struggle to examine every facet of the Kundali. In summary, an online Kundali is useful for determining the position of your planets but not for forecasting their outcomes.

In terms of mathematical calculations of planetary placements, the web software is giving you the truth. That, too, must be double-checked, at least once, using manual calculations and epimerase. However, predicting the future and events or dates needs a great deal of understanding and “reading between the lines,” something a programme cannot perform. Not to take anything away from software, but since they are a realistic part of life, they require a great deal of development, which I am confident will be accomplished.
