When is Tulsi Vivah 2026 and what is the shubh muhurat?

Tulsi Vivah 2026 falls on Saturday, 21 November 2026 (Kartik Shukla Dwadashi). The Dwadashi tithi begins at 6:31 AM on 21 November and extends into the early morning of 22 November. According to the Skanda Purana (Vaishnavakhanda, Chapter 31), the most auspicious time to perform the Tulsi Vivah ceremony is the Godhuli muhurat — approximately half an hour before sunset, when “the sun is still visible slightly.” This is the traditional time for the Sankalpa and the formal giving of Tulsi as the bride. Evening rites (Jagarana) continue through the night, with morning worship on 22 November. Our pandits follow the exact Skanda Purana muhurat for all our Tulsi Vivah arrangements.
