The complete Gaya Pind Daan follows a traditional 3-day or 17-day vedi sequence: Day 1 begins at Phalgu River with the morning bath and Tarpan, then proceeds to Vishnupad Temple for the main Pind Daan at the sacred footprint, followed by Akshaya Vat (the undying banyan) for the Akshaya Pind Daan.
