What is the best time to perform Pind Daan?

Best times are: Pitrupaksha (16-day period in September-October), the Shradh tithi of the ancestor death date, and Amavasya (new moon each month). At major tirthas like Prayagraj, Gaya, and Varanasi, any day is acceptable. Ideal time of day is Kutapa Kala: approximately 11:36 AM to 12:24 PM.
