Is pind daan in Gaya really better than at other places?

According to Hindu scriptures — the Valmiki Ramayana, Mahabharata, Vayu Purana, Garuda Purana, and Brahma Purana — Gaya is the supreme Tirth Sthal for ancestral liberation. The unique presence of Lord Vishnu as Gadadhara at Vishnupad Temple, the scriptural guarantee of permanent liberation (Moksha), the tradition of 45 active Vedis, and Lord Rama’s own precedent of performing Pind Daan here all make Gaya the most complete venue for the ancestral rite. Other Tirth Sthals like Prayagraj and Varanasi are deeply sacred but serve different or complementary purposes — Gaya is the apex of the Pind Daan tradition.
