What are the symptoms of a weak or blocked Manipura Solar Plexus Chakra?
A blocked Manipura Chakra disrupts personal power and digestive health. Physical symptoms: digestive disorders (acid reflux, ulcers, IBS), chronic fatigue, diabetes and blood sugar instability, liver problems, pancreatic issues, stomach pain, weak core muscles, and excessive weight around the abdomen. Emotional symptoms: low self-esteem, feeling powerless or victimized, indecisiveness, procrastination, excessive need for external validation, difficulty setting boundaries, chronic shame or guilt, and fear of rejection. When overactive: aggression, domination, perfectionism, workaholism, anger issues, and obsessive need for control. When underactive: passivity, lack of ambition, inability to follow through on plans, people-pleasing behavior, and feeling invisible or unimportant. The Manipura”s Fire element means cold environments, sedentary lifestyles, and suppressed anger (fire held inward) weaken it. Hindu tradition specifically connects the navel fire (Nabhi Agni) to ancestral merit — the Garuda Purana teaches that offerings reaching ancestors through Pind Daan are received via the fire principle (Agni as carrier of offerings to the other world).
