Can a daughter or daughter-in-law perform Shradh if there is no male heir?

Yes. While Vedic tradition traditionally designates the eldest son as the primary performer, the Dharmashastra texts permit daughters, sons-in-law, and other close relatives to perform Shradh when a direct male heir is not available. Prayag Pandits has extensive experience conducting ceremonies performed by female family members. The sincerity of the performer is what matters most.
