Do I need to book Pind Daan in advance?

For ordinary days throughout the year, you can book our Pind Daan packages with 24-48 hours notice, and we can accommodate last-minute ceremonies within a day. However, during Pitrupaksha (16 days of Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha, typically September), Amavasya days, and Kumbh Mela periods, Pind Daan bookings are in extreme demand — we recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance. For the most auspicious dates like Mahalaya Amavasya or Sarva Pitru Amavasya, book 1-2 months in advance to secure pandit availability and reasonable pricing. NRI families planning a pilgrimage during Pitrupaksha should book 3-6 months in advance. Off-season bookings (non-Pitrupaksha, non-Kumbh) are typically available within days.
