The ceremony takes exactly 3 days. Day 1 covers Sankalpa and purification. Day 2 is the core ceremony with wheat flour effigy funerals and continuous Havan. Day 3 covers Pind Daan, Sapindikarana, and Visarjan. The duration cannot be shortened.
