Go directly home after the ceremony. Maintain vegetarian diet for 3 days. Avoid Nag Devata temples for 11 days. The head of family should observe celibacy for 3 days. Do not bring ritual materials home — all are immersed by the priest. After 11 days, resume regular Shraddha practices.
