What documents should I carry from Malaysia?

You do not need ritual documents from Malaysia. However, it helps to carry: the full name of the departed ancestor, the death anniversary date (Gregorian or lunar), your family’s Gotra name if known, and a photograph of the departed (optional, for altar setup).
