Narayan Bali Puja is a Hindu ritual performed for the liberation (Moksha) of souls who have suffered an unnatural or untimely death. This includes death by accident, suicide, certain diseases (like epidemics), snakebite, drowning, murder, arson, curse, or those who were great sinners. The ritual aims to satisfy the unfulfilled desires of these departed souls, allowing them to move from the realm of wandering spirits (Pret Yoni) to the realm of ancestors (Pitra Yoni) and ultimately attain peace.
