How many days do I need in India for the Shradh pilgrimage?

For a standard Parvana Shradh, plan for a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days — one day to arrive and prepare, one full ceremony day, and one day for temple visits and departure. For Tripindi Shradh or the 3-day Gaya programme, 3–4 nights are recommended. Many families combine Shradh in Varanasi with Pind Daan at Gaya (4 hours by road) for the most complete ancestral rites.
