A complete single-day ceremony covering Vishnupad Temple, Phalgu River Tarpan, and Akshaywat — the three most important vedis — takes approximately 5 to 7 hours including travel between sites. The 3-day Pitrupaksha Special package covers 10 or more vedis across the full Gaya Kshetra and is the most complete option. Come early in the morning (before 8 AM) to begin the snan at the ghat and have sufficient time for the full circuit.
