What information do I need to provide before the ceremony?

You need to provide: (1) the full name of the departed soul, (2) their relationship to you (father, mother, grandfather, etc.), (3) the family gotra (Vedic clan lineage — if unknown, our pandit can help you identify it), (4) the tithi of death if known, (5) your own name and your father’s name (required for the Sankalp), and (6) your preferred language for explanation (Hindi or English). We collect all of this through a simple form after booking, or over a pre-ceremony phone call.
