Maharashtra has several sacred sites for Asthi Visarjan within the state: Trimbakeshwar (origin of the Godavari, highly revered), Nashik (Kushavarta at Trimbakeshwar and Ramkund at Nashik), Alandi (Indrayani river), and Pandharpur (Bhima river) are the primary options. Many Maharashtrian families also travel to Prayagraj, Varanasi, or Haridwar for North Indian tirtha immersion. If distance is a constraint, we can assist with both in-state and North Indian Asthi Visarjan packages, including transportation and all ritual arrangements. Ashes are considered spiritually equivalent whether immersed at a nearby Maharashtrian tirtha or at a North Indian Ganga site.
