Which day is best for Asthi Visarjan at Prayagraj?

Any day is scripturally valid, but certain days carry exceptional merit at Prayagraj. Amavasya (especially Mauni Amavasya, Somvati Amavasya, Mahalaya Amavasya), Purnima, Makar Sankranti, and all days during Pitrupaksha are considered especially auspicious.
