Guidance for making a considered choice

Family traditions and circumstances can differ. Our team can help you understand the options without rushing your decision.

Ask us on WhatsApp
Can I understand the tithis before deciding?

Yes. This page explains whom each observance is traditionally for. When one matches your family’s circumstances, its own page shows the complete service, current availability and booking details.

What if I do not know the exact death tithi?

Sarva Pitru Amavasya on 10 October is the inclusive closing-day observance traditionally chosen for known and unknown ancestors, especially when an exact death tithi is not known or an earlier observance was missed.

Who should be named as the Karta?

The Karta is the eligible family member in whose name the sankalp is taken. The traditional choice depends on the ancestor and family custom, so each date card gives specific guidance. A pratinidhi physically performs the offering in Gaya on the named Karta’s behalf.

Do I need to travel to Gaya or join at a fixed time?

No. Customers do not attend this group pooja physically. Pandit Ji manages the exact ceremony time on the chosen date, so there is no fixed customer attendance time and no Pandit approval step.

How is group Pind Daan different from a private booking?

The group ceremony is shared with other booked families on one fixed date, while each family receives a separate sankalp. The dedicated package is family-only, offers broader date coordination and is currently listed at ₹7,100; its product page shows the payable amount.

Is GST included in the displayed price?

The base price is before tax. Five per cent GST is added, and every card shows both the base price and the complete tax-inclusive total before you open the pooja details.

How many ancestors can my family include?

One family place includes up to five ancestors. On the selected pooja page, you can enter each ancestor’s full name and relation to the Karta before payment.

What if I do not know the family gotra?

You may leave the gotra field blank on the selected pooja page. The team records it as unknown and Pandit Ji follows the prescribed convention during the sankalp.
