How many pindas should be offered during Dwitiya Shradh?

The minimum is three pindas (for the grandfather, father, and the ancestor himself who departed on Dwitiya). If multiple family members are being honoured, one pinda per named ancestor is prepared. The pandit will determine the exact count based on the family’s situation and the number of ancestors being acknowledged.
