What happens if we miss a tithi during Pitrupaksha?

The scriptures provide a specific remedy: Sarva Pitru Amavasya, the final day of Pitrupaksha (October 10 in 2026), is designated precisely for those who missed a tithi for any reason. A Shraddha performed on this day with the intention of compensating for missed rites is fully accepted by the tradition. No ancestor is left unserved.
