Gather names (and Gotra, if known) of ancestors for whom Pind Daan is intended (typically three generations: father, grandfather, great-grandfather). Pack appropriate attire (white dhoti for men, simple saree/suit for women) and warm clothing for Badrinath’s climate. Be mentally prepared for a solemn ritual. It’s traditionally advised to have performed rites at Prayagraj, Kashi, and Gaya first, positioning Brahmakapal as the final step.
